Dear Friend of Missio Alliance,
For the last four years, you have entrusted me as Missio Alliance’s Editorial Director, to help shape your soul’s formation through stewardship of our words, seeking to discern the good Kingdom work God is inviting you to co-create in your midst. I have been honored to help shape the writing of a diverse Writing Collective that seeks to empower the global Church and unfolding mission of God in a just and holistic manner.
Now, I am inviting you to discern whether you – or someone in your world – should step forth into a new journey of formational development with me! This year, I have been prayerfully developing the integration of deep inner-world transformation and faithful discernment of one’s social location, nestled within the context of a 3-year Doctor of Ministry cohort.
Today, I am thrilled to personally invite you to consider the brand-new Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation & Discernment of Place (SFDP) cohort ([link removed]) at Western Theological Seminary, launching in August 2026! ([link removed])
The vision of the SFDP cohort ([link removed]) is simple, yet challenging: to lovingly develop and form honest, responsive Christian leaders with wise, flourishing hearts, who listen with God for the good of the world, rooted in Christ our Friend. This framing question will humbly chart our path forward: What does a biblical, resilient, pragmatic, holistic, healthy, and transformational model of spiritual formation and reflective discernment of ‘our place’ for good look like in our cultural moment?
If this invitation strikes something within you, please email me at
[email protected] (mailto:
[email protected]?subject=&body=) , as I would love to connect! You can also attend a virtual info night ([link removed]) hosted by Western and myself on Tuesday, February 10th.
Register Here! ([link removed])
Praying for you,
Dr. Chris Kamalski
