Your MI Education Update

Dear Michigan citizens:

Who is the unelected source directing Michigan children's education called MOASH?! It stands for Michigan Organization on Adolescent Sexual Health.

According to their website,, "MOASH is a 501c3 non-partisan organization that was conceived in the spring of 2008 by statewide leaders, including professionals from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Michigan Department of Education, and other local and statewide organizations that serve adolescent sexual health..."

MOASH training topics include (just to name a few):

  • GBTQIA+
  • LGBTQIA+ Student Rights and Advocacy in Michigan Schools
  • Sexual Health and Your Trans Teen
  • LGBTQIA+ Youth and Pregnancy
  • Fat Liberation is Queer Liberation

They are funded by a variety of sources including YOUR state and federal tax dollars.

But, it's much more.

On our next Zoom Briefing, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 7:00 PM, we will be bringing you an in-depth update on this subject matter.

You need to be aware of its influence and infiltration into your local schools. This agenda has been incorporated into our educational system for years, promoting trainings (see below).

The next State Board of Education meeting is Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Find the details here.

Thank you for continuing to pray for and serve the local community regarding education. It matters!

Remember to Invite Your Friends:

Michigan LGBTQ+ Students Project: Sponsored by the Michigan Department of Education

Sometimes what they are doing is staring us in the face. They are not even trying to hide it. This is not new; it's been going on for years. See below.

Is this alarming to you? Please take 5 minutes to take action! And share this with your friends.

Call to Action to Help Michigan

You need to continue to be a friendly voice, asking very important questions to the State Board of Education. Sometimes one of the best ways we can have impact is asking good questions.

Contact the State Board of Education here. Contact Superintendent Glenn Maleyko directly through this email: [email protected]

  • Where in state law does it allow the Department of Education authority to have teachers to instruct on topics based on belief systems? (Answer: there is none - it is not permitted)

  • How much of my state and federal tax dollars are being used to fund MOASH programs to train teachers?

  • How does this help our children improve in math and reading? (Our state is 44th in the nation for 3rd grade reading and abysmal in math)

We would love to hear what responses you get from the State Board of Education or Superintendent Maleyko.

Your Ongoing Local Efforts Matter

Have you identified what school district you live in? Here is an easy tool:

  1. Visit the Secretary of State's website, and go to the "Your Voter Information" tab at the top of the page
  2. Enter your information, then hit enter
  3. A list will generate of the districts and regions you live in. Look for School District.

Then, do some research on your school district:

  • When are their Board meetings?
  • Can you attend in person or perhaps watch via livestream? If you don't see the information, make a friendly phone call to the Administrator's office and ask them for the details.
  • Attend the meetings on a consistent basis. Smile. Find ways to build relationships. Take a friend.
