Unfortunately, yesterday I had to miss the first debate in California’s Governor race because I was in Washington voting against the ICE budget. I really wanted to go to the debate, but I needed to vote against ICE.

I believe this was the most important thing I could do to fight for Californians. We cannot fund this terror in our communities. And I’ll continue to go on offense against ICE as Governor.
