Friend,
Not long ago, a map made the rounds online.
It showed which states Americans considered the "worst possible" in which to live. And Illinois was marked darkest of all. Dead last. Take a look for yourself:

Oh heavens … this stung. Because deep down, we know Illinois is worth fighting for. We believe in Illinois, in our people, and in the solutions of real leadership … Republican leadership.
We just don’t have the leadership Illinoisans deserve.
Sky-high taxes. Broken schools. Crime in our neighborhoods. A political class more interested in headlines than in hard work. Year after year, the same failed policies drive more families and businesses to leave.
We don't want to see any more maps like that one. Not now, not ever again.
That’s why I’m humbly asking, if you are able, to chip in today to help turn Illinois around!

I won’t stop fighting until Illinois is a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and children can dream big right here at home.
We have a long way to go. But if we vote like we believe in Illinois and support the movement to fix it, there’s no limit to what we can do.
Let’s make sure no child grows up thinking they live in the "worst state." Let’s build their future… a future we all can be proud of.
