Hey John, I'm Carla, Roy's digital director. In a moment, I'm going to ask if you can make your first online donation to Roy's re-election campaign, but first let me explain why your support now would make a huge difference.

Sunday marked 100 days until election day. Now that we're in the home stretch of this election--Roy needs your help more than ever before.
His far-right opponent launched a seven-figure ad buy--funded in part by maskless, in-person fundraisers that violate state health guidelines.
We've shifted our campaign fully online, suspending all in-person fundraising since mid-March--and we're planning to continue to do so.
That means we count on online grassroots fundraising like this to be able to compete.
We've crunched the numbers, and if we raise $150,000 online before Friday's fundraising deadline we'll be in a good position to fight back against the extreme-right's attacks and reach as many voters as possible in these next 97 days.
The good news is that lots of grassroots supporters have stepped up, and now we're over halfway there!
The bad news is that we've only got two days to close the gap! If we fall short, we risk being outspent by Dan Forest and the far-right groups backing him up.
So, can Roy and the rest of the team count on you to rush $25 before our deadline on Friday? For a limited time, all gifts will receive a FREE sticker or magnet - but supplies won't last long!

Thank you for your support,

Digital Director
Cooper for North Carolina
We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
