FIRST: The people of Richmond joined the nation in demanding racial justice. Richmond is no longer the capital of the Confederacy, and it is well past time for our policies to mirror our values.

THEN: When you asked for justice, Levar answered your call. Already, he's implementing reforms to begin the process of dismantling racist systems and create a city where every person can succeed and thrive.

NOW: Extremists are coming out of the woodwork to attack the Mayor. In just one month, Levar has brought about revolutionary change in our city, including removing nearly every city-owned Confederate statue and starting the process to create the Marcus Alert and an independent civilian review board. Extremists are terrified of what Levar will do next.

SO: We set an ambitious goal of raising $10,000 before the end-of-month deadline Friday at midnight. More than ever before, we need to show anyone who's watching that we the people still have Levar's back.
