Beginning on Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, we launched a major promotion at Macy’s stores nationwide that has been captivating customers with its Black History Month Round-Up Campaign benefiting UNCF, and the impact is already being felt.
This isn’t just a partnership—it’s a legacy. Since this journey began five years ago, Macy’s customers have stepped up to raise $5.5 million, which represents 700+ dreams realized from scholarships awarded to students via the Macy’s Mission Every One Scholarship Program administered by UNCF.
The campaign will continue to support incredible students like Jasmine Walker, a senior at Fisk University, and Jeremy Felix, a senior at Howard University. These scholarship recipients are featured in promotional materials in-store and online and are proof that every cent rounded up at the register counts.
We need to keep the momentum high throughout February. Here is how you can support the campaign today:
Amplify the Message: Keep an eye on our official social media channels. When you see a Macy's post, Like, Share and Repost!
Tell the Story: Use your platform to remind your network that they can "Round Up" for HBCU excellence whenever they shop at Macy's (in-store or online) through February 28th.
Visit a Store: If you’re near a Macy's, stop by, say thanks to the team and see the campaign in action!
