Iowa has been trending in the wrong direction for the better part of the last decade — you know it, I know it, and the numbers folks at Morning Consult know it:

Ouch, John.

But if I’m being honest, it’s not surprising — because I’ve spent darn-near every waking moment talking to Iowans about how we can move our state forward.

Iowans are also smart enough to know that the partisan insiders seeking to replace her would mean more of the same: more jobs leaving the state, more high prices, and more policies that leave a majority of Iowans behind.

And let me tell you, folks are ready for a hard reset on the way we’ve been doing politics.
