Alliance for a Green Economy is helping our friends at New Yorkers for Clean Power circulate a petition that calls on Governor Cuomo to implement a green jobs stimulus ([link removed]) in New York. While the state waits for a federal stimulus, there are a number of immediate actions that the Cuomo Administration can take right now that will save New Yorkers money and create jobs. Some actions have already been taken since the petition began circulating! Please sign the petition ([link removed]) , and share it throughout your networks!

Save the date for a teach-in about the future of thermal infrastructure.
AGREE and other members of the Renewable Heat Now campaign are co-hosting an online teach-in ([link removed]) from 12pm to 1pm on Thursday, August 13 to learn more about actual real-world projects demonstrating examples for meeting our energy needs across New York with clean heating and cooling technologies. Presenters at the online teach-in ([link removed]) will discuss geothermal district heating models, thermal infrastructure ownership options, and how we can finance getting to scale. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and take action to advocate for clean energy infrastructure. Please pre-register for the teach-in ([link removed]) to attend, and ensure your device can access Zoom ahead of time.
