Our movement for a greener, more just New York State is at a new beginning with renewed energy. Last year, we shocked and inspired the nation when we won the landmark Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA). Now, we are on the cusp of a new initiative for sweeping action. But we need our people-powered base to make it happen.
We have a strategy to win but we need your help to start our next campaign. Join us to talk about our movement’s strategy on August 5th.
Frontline communities are being hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic, financial crisis, and police violence. So, too, is the climate crisis attacking New York’s most vulnerable communities. We’re not going to sit back and let this happen. We’re activating our statewide network of activists, organizers, community leaders, and elected officials once again to build on the foundation of the CLCPA.
NY Renews coalition members and partners from Buffalo to the Bronx to Brentwood have tremendous power to drive progress forward when working together in unity and strength. The first step to our next victory is approaching.
