Friend,
We need to talk about the recent Special Election in Texas.
In 2024, Trump won this Texas district by 17 points.
This Saturday, Democrat Taylor Rehmet won the Special by 14 points.
He flipped a State Senate seat, and it wasn't close (In Texas, the
state senate districts are larger than congressional districts).
Taylor's Republican opponent even had Trump's endorsement, but it
turns out that Trump is as weak and unpopular in Texas right now as he
is in the rest of the country.
The American people are sick of Trump, and every day, it's looking
more and more like Democrats will win in November. But
that doesn't mean our work is done. Far from it. We have nine months
until the midterm elections, and we need to keep working every single
day. Chip in today >>
The GOP thought they could rubber-stamp Trump's disastrous,
unpopular agenda without consequences. This weekend, Texas showed up
and showed them that they were wrong.
Let's
build on the momentum of this moment and make sure we have what it
takes to flip the House this November.
Ted
