Just days ago in Tarrant County, Texas - the largest Republican county in the country - a Democrat won a special election for a State Senate district Donald Trump carried by 13 points in 2024. That district had not elected a Democrat in half a century.
South Carolina is fertile ground for this grassroots movement. I know because I’ve heard it from people I meet on the campaign trail every day. They’re looking for serious leadership, stability, and a governor who is focused on getting things done instead of chasing outrage.
Hitting our fundraising goal shows that this campaign is tapping into that energy. It shows that we are building something real together.
