Dear Friend,

President Trump’s executive action to reform and lower the cost of
prescription drugs follows the policies I have articulated for many years.

The ‘One Pill, One Price’ concept, which ensures Americans no longer subsidize
citizens of foreign socialist countries, is something I discussed at length
during my 21 in-person Town Hall meetings in each of our district’s counties.

Americans should never pay a higher price than foreigners for the same
prescription drugs, most of which are developed and brought to market in the
United States.

I have also advocated and cosponsored legislation to end of the pharmacy
benefit manager “middleman” that prevents doctors from prescribing medicines to
patients and allows monies to be kicked-backed to all involved except the
actual consumer. It’s a complete ratchet and I’m very pleased President Trump
and Republicans are putting it to an end.

In the short-term, until the entirety of this executive action and precious
actions to require price transparency take effect, the provisions signed by the
President to allow the reimportation of pharmaceutical products from foreign
nations and place caps on out of pocket expenses for drugs like insulin to
treat chronic disease, will be effective.

All of these thoughtful and aggressive actions will help lower costs without
discouraging U.S. drug companies from advancing the biopharmaceutical cures
that help keep us alive and live the best and longest lives possible.

According to the Congressional Budget Office and White House Council of
Economic Advisors, the Pelosi-Democrat bill on drug costs, H.R. 3, would impose
price controls, taxes and regulations that would block between 15-100 cures
from development over the next decade.

My opponent, Feehan, who supports Pelosi’s bill, talks a big game about
wanting to help folks drive down prescription drug costs. But it’s all politics
with him, as he opposes the President’s leadership on this issue and supports
denying cures that may save the lives of millions of Americans. Shameful.

Republicans, led by President Trump continue to implement meaningful and
positive policy solutions to solve the problems facing our constituents. As
always, good policy makes good politics.

I’m proud to be part of this coalition and help execute sound policy on behalf
of southern Minnesotans and America.

Help me fight and win!

Thank you for support!

P.S.

My opponent has been handpicked by Nancy Pelosi and was endorsed by Ilhan
Omar. They are already raising him massive amounts of money from their extreme
East and West coast liberal friends. That’s why I really need your help today.
Even a contribution of $250, $100, $25, or $10 right now(Help Jim Win!

loud message that they can’t buy this district and misrepresent the people of
southern Minnesota.
