⚖️ State Housing Bond Moves Forward!
[link removed] [[link removed]] Good news for affordable housing! Last week, the Affordable Housing Bond (SB 417) [[link removed]] passed out of the Senate Floor. This means that we’re one step closer to getting this bond on the ballot. Thank you to Senator Christopher Cabaldon for all his work to get this passed! This follows the work of Assemblymember Buffy Wicks, who is carrying an accompanying bill, AB 736 [[link removed]] , in the Assembly!
The Roadmap Home Join NPH and our partners in Oakland on Wednesday, February 25 from 9:15AM-11:30AM PT for the Roadmap Home: Bay Area Regional Launch [[link removed]] , to learn about a bold agenda to address the housing needs of all Californians. This launch event will include a briefing on the Roadmap Home, its proposed policy solutions, and how housing advocates can take action to support the Roadmap. The event will also prepare attendees to advocate for the statewide housing bond [[link removed]] , an important step towards turning the Roadmap's ambitions into reality.

📝 Last Chance: Sign up for NPH’s Liberatory Leadership for Organizational Change Program

This new program, titled Liberatory Leadership for Organizational Change (LLOC) , includes professional coaching, technical assistance, and an engaging cohort experience.

We will share operational tools and resources designed to strengthen our PSH community programs and services, and policy recommendations that can position regulating governing bodies and lawmakers with the best information and data to help defend proven solutions.


* Opening the Front Door: Efforts to Strengthen Coordinated Entry [[link removed]] , Tuesday, February 24 from 12-1PM For affordable housing developers and providers, an effective and equitable Coordinated Entry System (CES) is essential to ensuring that the homes we build reach the people who need them most. Join us virtually to better understand the importance of CES to housing providers, learn actionable solutions, and gain tools to drive meaningful change in their communities.

This event will feature a “Speed Networking” session, so you can have quick conversations with industry peers.
