Americans United for Life works to ensure that the law recognizes and protects human life, while also supporting women and families with care and integrity. This work is legal, policy driven, and long term by design, and it continues because supporters understand the importance of steady engagement.

As part of this work, Americans United for Life has brought the Center for Client Safety under its umbrella as a natural extension of AUL’s longstanding legal and policy efforts in the states.

For decades, AUL has worked with lawmakers nationwide and helped advance hundreds of life affirming laws. CCS extends that work by investigating violations of all applicable laws by abortion facilities and providers and by ensuring those laws are enforced across both red and blue states.

This work has a track record of real consequences, including clinics being held accountable through enforcement actions such as closures, penalties, and license actions when violations are found.

This enforcement work is intended to hold abortion providers accountable under the law, ensure consequences when providers violate the law, and save lives by shutting down abortion providers that violate the law.
