This campaign is a promise to Colorado: As governor, I'll protect our health, our climate, our democracy and our wallets as I work to build a brighter future for our kids and grandkids.

The solutions Colorado needs will only come from Coloradans, working together to make it the best state to live, work and raise a family.

That's why I will seek a public option for health insurance when I am elected as governor. 

Why? Because health care should be a right for everyone. Too often, I've heard stories of people who have had to choose between rent and health care. And as governor, I will do my best to make sure that's no longer the case in Colorado.

I firmly believe that this is the best state in the nation – and together, I know we can make it even better by providing health insurance for all.

That's why I'm running: because our people, our rights and a better future are worth the fight.

But unlike the GOP's so-called leadership in Washington, I don't take a cent from corporate PACs – so I can't keep this promise without you.
