Over the past several years, our Conference has continued to listen for God’s leading as we adapt to a smaller staff and discern how to steward our resources faithfully. Even amid these changes, we have been grateful for the ways new ideas and technology help keep us connected in prayer and ministry.
 
As part of this ongoing discernment, we are making thoughtful changes in how we communicate Shared Prayers. Our hope is that this new approach will ease inbox congestion making it easier to find the information we value around who and how we can be praying.
 
Beginning February 20, the Shared Prayers email will be discontinued. Rest assured, we have a plan for how to keep you in the loop for prayer-related announcements:

• Shared prayers will be part of district newsletters.
• Death notices will be included in Net News emails.

You can update your subscriptions or subscribe to any of those newsletters at this link. Please note that updating your subscriptions and subscribing to something new utilizes the same form the linked webpage. Additionally, beginning March 2, a Bishop-led prayer practice for our churches and clergy will be offered on the Conference website. Its availability will be shared in Net News.

I know many of you have held the weekly prayer list as a holy habit, a rhythm of intercession that shapes your faith. This change is not an ending, but simply a new place to find what you need.
