Dear John,

One of the largest providers of sex-rejecting procedures locally, Children's Minnesota, announced Tuesday they will temporarily stop prescribing puberty blockers, other sex hormones, and varied body modification surgeries to minors, euphemistically called 'gender-affirming care'. Children's stated, "this is not the decision we wanted to make" but that it was due to "federal actions."

Will you support our work on-the-ground here in Minnesota to protect children from being preyed upon by this industry?

It's a privilege to lead your team at Minnesota Family Council in advocating for state law to protect biology, parental rights, and the protection of children.

In 2023, our state legislature pushed HF146, the "Kidnapping Bill," which when passed into law enabled a court of the state to strip away parental custody in cases when parents do not provide sex-rejecting procedures to their own children. Watch just one of our legislative testimonies urging opposition to the Kidnapping Bill here. This bill is just one example of our past advocacy on this issue.

Looking ahead to the near future, progressive legislators are expected to continue pushing legislation that would protect personal identity of sex rejection in Minnesota's constitution. As proposed, this state constitutional amendment contains no protections for religious freedom. It's one of our top priorities to thwart this bill from changing our state constitution, the highest law.

With the 2026 legislative session beginning in just a few weeks, I'm asking you to consider giving generously to fuel the work of your team at Minnesota Family Council. With a shorter legislative session, we have more good work to do in less time, and every dollar helps us have a great impact in protecting Minnesota's children and families.

Minnesota Family Council commends the Trump administration's work towards defunding the mutilation of children and the recent ruling from a New York jury which awarded $2 million to a woman who had a double mastectomy as a minor due to the malpractice of the predatory industry.

Thank you for your continued support as we work on the frontlines here in Minnesota!
