Over the next few days, my team and I will be reaching out to you with a few requests. Can I have a moment to explain why these requests are so important?

This month, I've been busy hosting stops on our virtual Senate Background Checks Tour. So far we've made stops in Michigan and Tennessee, and today we are going to be meeting up with Senator Tina Smith in Minnesota to help her hold this critical seat.

This tour is so important because if we can flip the Senate, expand our majority in the House, and defeat Donald Trump, we can make real progress nationwide--like finally signing universal background checks and other lifesaving legislation into law.

However, the truth is that we need a lot of resources to do our part. The overwhelming majority of the donations we receive come from emails just like this. So before our FEC fundraising deadline, I have to ask:
