Casco/Naples - Feb. 04, 2026 - The Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) will be limiting traffic on U.S. Route 302 at the CascoNaples town line as crews perform bridge wearing surface replacement work on the Crooked River Bridge. Beginning February 9, 2026, traffic will be reduced to one lane of alternating traffic. Both lanes are expected to reopen by May 21, 2026.

During construction, lane widths will be reduced to 12 feet and traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.

Motorists should expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

The schedule is approximate and may change due to weather or other unforeseen conditions. MaineDOT will post updates on this project as needed.

The contractor for this project is CPM Constructors of Freeport, Maine.
