Steve Bannon says the FBI raid in Fulton County, Georgia ‘has everything to do with 2026’

• Former Trump senior advisor Steve Bannon had a powerhouse lineup of conspiracy theorists and election deniers on his War Room podcast last week — former Georgia GOP official Salleigh Grubbs, Georgia elections board vice-chair Janice Johnston, embattled Fulton County elections board member Jason Frazier, and Garland Favorito — to talk about the FBI raid.
  
  
• Not only did Bannon and his guests reiterate their claims that the raid will soon produce evidence that the 2020 election was stolen — they also suggested there will be a big impact on the midterms.
  
  
• “We’re never going to ever allow you to steal the election like you did in 2020, and you’re not going to use illegal alien invaders,” Bannon said, addressing Democrats. Allegations of voter fraud in the 2020 election in Georgia have been thoroughly debunked — including by the state’s Republican governor and secretary of state.
  
  
• Johnston, who’s been using her position on the state board to push anti-voting policies, agreed with Bannon. “If we don’t learn what happened in 2020, we won’t know how to approach or how to direct future elections,” she said.

Cleta Mitchell shares 2020 Georgia election conspiracy report, says ‘this is THE answer to’ why FBI raided Fulton County

• Anti-voting lawyer and election denier Cleta Mitchell — who played a key role in President Donald Trump’s effort to subvert 2020 election in Georgia — shared a 236-page report on social media last week that she said is “THE answer to everyone’s question, ‘why did the FBI raid Fulton County’s election warehouse?’”

• The report, authored by noted conspiracy theorist Kevin Moncla, makes a number of debunked claims involving hacked voting machines and fraudulent absentee ballots.

• Moncla said on social media that he shared the report with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), and hinted that he may have shared it with members of the state board ahead of the FBI raid.

Election conspiracy theorist Patrick Byrne called in for a White House meeting last month

• LindellTV host Emerald Robinson was scheduled to have election conspiracy theorist Patrick Byrne as a guest for her show last month when he abruptly canceled — because he got called in for a meeting at the White House.
  
  
• Byrne, the CEO of Overstock.com, aided Trump’s effort to steal 2020 and promoted a number of debunked conspiracies around the vote involving foreign interference in the election — including one alleging Venezuela hacked Smartmatic voting machines.
  
  
• It’s unclear what Byrne’s meeting was about, but it came days after the Trump administration kidnapped Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro. The DOJ is said to be investigating claims of Venezuelan interference in the 2020 election.

Michigan secretary of state debunks GOP’s latest noncitizen voting conspiracy

• Remember last month when election conspiracy theorists and Republicans were up in arms over allegations from Macomb County, Michigan clerk (and GOP secretary of state candidate) Anthony Forlini that he had discovered 14 noncitizens in his county’s voter rolls? Turns out, that’s not quite the case.
  
  
• Michigan election officials concluded that the alarming allegations — amplified by GOP operatives as evidence of a broken voter registration system — were based on misinterpreted data and exaggerated far beyond the facts.
  
  
• Only four people were identified as apparent noncitizens, and election officials said those voters will be contacted to verify eligibility — with registrations canceled if they fail to respond. The state’s latest findings align with broader evidence showing that noncitizen voting in Michigan is exceedingly rare.
  
  
• Yet that didn’t stop anti-voting activists from continuing to push false narratives about noncitizen voting.

Jan. 6 rioter and U.S. Senate candidate Jake Lang says Tina Peters is poised for ‘federal extraction.’

• Jake Lang, a far-right influencer and U.S. Senate candidate in Florida who served time in prison for his role in the Jan. 6 riot, said last week that, following the FBI’s raid of a Fulton County election office, he thinks the Trump administration “has positioned Tina [Peters] PERFECTLY for Federal Extraction.”
  
  
• Lang also spoke with Peters from prison, who gave a brief message to her supporters. Peters was recently involved in an altercation with another prisoner. Although she claimed she was assaulted, video of the incident appeared to tell a different story. Even claims from her lawyers in the aftermath of the incident — that she was placed in solitary confinement — contradicted official statements and facts from the Colorado Department of Corrections.
  
  
• “I believe the truth lives on,” Peters said over FaceTime. “It’s not about a person, it’s about a movement, really, of God.”
