This is a pivotal moment. You see, I was elected as part of a historic freshman class: most number of women, most diversity, most veterans. But also, many of us had never been elected and are focused on one thing: getting results.

Our Members also made history by winning seats in 2018 in districts that Trump had won in 2016. After winning in Nevada's 3rd district, I got straight to work, on health care, climate change, the high cost of college and a whole lot more.
NewDems have led on so many of those issues, with the goal of making sure that everyone has the opportunity to get ahead and live a good life in America. It's fundamental, and it matters now more than ever.
