Hey Friend,

Last week, I visited the Dilley Detention Center in South Texas to meet with a father and son who were wrongly detained by ICE. 

And while I’m grateful to share that they have now been released and brought home — what I saw in that facility was nothing short of inhumane.

The facilities were extremely crowded. The drinking water was unsafe. There were children, even babies, being held in detention – without education or adequate medical attention.

And now, there’s a measles outbreak, threatening the health of thousands of detainees and staff. And what’s worse: I confirmed with ICE that NONE of the people being held in this facility are criminals. 

Let me be clear: the Dilley Detention Center MUST be shut down. 

I’m not just talking — I’m taking action. 

We’re shining a spotlight on these abuses and turning up the pressure on the Trump administration through every means we have. But we need your help.
