Here are the facts:
- Don Lemon is a former CNN anchor who has been outspoken about Donald Trump since the beginning
- Last month, Lemon was filming a protest at a Minnesota church where a crowd peacefully confronted a pastor with ICE connections. It's important to note that no one was hurt, nor were protesters violent or threatening.
- Seeing an opportunity to settle another score, the police were sent to Don Lemon's home to arrest him on charges of "violating rights of worshippers." Lemon was not a part of the protest itself, but was acting a journalist reporting at the scene.
- Lemon says his arrest was intended to "embarrass" him and "spread fear" among anyone trying to speak out against ICE or report on the Trump Administration.
Donald Trump has pardoned violent rioters when they stormed the Capitol and left four dead in DC. He pardoned scammers, drug dealers, and sexual predators.
