Federal ICE agents are terrorizing people in cities across the country. Eight people have died at the hands of ICE in 2026, including American citizens murdered by ICE in broad daylight.

The American people deserve accountability. No one deserves to live in fear.

After the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, I joined 162 of my colleagues in a letter demanding DHS Secretary Kristi Noem launch a thorough and unbiased investigation into the shootings. Additionally, I am a cosponsor of Articles of Impeachment against Secretary Noem. I also voted No on the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2026. I cannot support funding for this agency as they continue to ignore the Constitution and violate the rights of individuals across the country.

I am hard at work in Washington doing all I can to right these wrongs and protect our families and our communities from unprecedented attacks on our Constitution from this extreme Trump administration.
