Donald Trump just announced what we’ve been warning about: He wants to “nationalize” the 2026 midterm elections.

Let’s be clear: this is about consolidating power in Trump’s hands and putting our elections under MAGA control, state by state.

As a reminder, the Trump administration has already:

* Sued over 20 states to seize sensitive voter data
* Installed loyalists who’ve echoed his election lies
* Raided an elections office in Georgia

Now, they’re laying the groundwork to override state control of elections and strip power from the Secretaries of State who’ve protected our democracy.

We’re not letting it happen.

Democratic Secretaries of State have been the firewall against Trump’s election lies, voter suppression, and anti-democracy agenda. But they can’t do it alone.
