DID YOU KNOW? While the Fair is a county entity, it receives no county general fund allocation and must operate as a self-sustaining unit through event revenues, sponsorships, creative partnerships and a dedicated volunteer community. We greatly appreciate any consideration of support and work diligently to give our community partners a high on return on investment for their support.

We're looking for Fair Superintendents!
The Skagit County Fair is looking for two (or more) interested volunteers who would be willing to help at the 2026 Skagit County Fair. We are looking for Superintendents to run two sections of the Fair:
- Open Class Photography & Open Class Hobbies & Crafts
- Open Class Agriculture & Open Class Floriculture
This is a fun opportunity to become more involved in this community tradition and connect with other like-minded individuals with similar interests as yourself.
Responsibilities would include:
- Volunteer position with the Fair to set up display areas.
- Accept entries a couple days prior to the Fair.
- Select a judge and work with them to record awards given.
- After judging, display entries with awarded ribbons.
- Monitoring and/or gather volunteers to watch over exhibits during the Fair and answer questions for Fair guests.
- Release entries at the end of Fair to get back to the right person.
- Pack up the display materials for next year.
- Supply stipend available.
