Take the Pledge: I will serve Christ first, not Caesar

Dear John,

Churches across America are under attack. State and local governments have hijacked the China virus pandemic to prevent Christians from congregating for worship. God instituted government for the purpose of restraining and punishing evil (Romans 13:1-4), but He also commanded His people not to forsake the assembly of believers (Hebrews 10:25).

While governments are forcing Christians not to congregate and worship God together, we must remember that we are to fear God, not man (Matthew 10:27-31). Remember the words of the Psalmist, "Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation ... Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker" (Psalm 95:1,6).

Sign the pledge to serve Christ first, not Caesar!([link removed])

By taking the pledge, you will be counted among the many Christians in America who are saying no to Caesar and yes to God. You are reminding your governor and state leaders that they, even in times of emergency, may not impose special restrictions on religious activity that do not also apply to similar nonreligious activity.
