In my experience, there are not many businessmen who would honor a promise like that so many years later. But that is just who my dad is.
Long before politics, my dad, Ralph Norman, was a businessman. He built the family business I still work in today. He worked hard, created jobs, and took pride in doing things the right way.
Throughout this campaign, you are going to hear outsiders and critics tell you who they think my dad is. I want you to hear it from someone who has watched him live his values every single day.
He is a husband, a father, a “Boppie” to 17 grandchildren, a businessman, and a conservative.
What he is not is a career politician.
He does not compromise his principles to please party bosses.
He does not say one thing and do another.
When he gives his word, he keeps it.
He works hard, even when it is unpopular. He is willing to stand up to the system if it means delivering for the people he serves.
That is why he has been such a great dad to us, and it is why I know he will be a great Governor for South Carolina.
If you are able to help his campaign in any way, I would be truly grateful. My dad does not rely on big out of state donors or political favors. This campaign is powered by grassroots supporters who believe in his values and want to see a true conservative lead our state.
That’s why each Tuesday someone from our family reaches out to ask for a gift of just $10 or more. If you have anything at all you can spare, I humbly ask you to consider pitching in today.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for standing with my dad, Ralph Norman.
