Throughout our 30+ years as an organization, LAANE has invested in the development of the next generation of labor justice activists and leaders. With annual support from our incredible community of donors, LAANE offers paid, part-time internship opportunities for individuals interested in the fields of communications, community and worker organizing, and research.
The 2026 Beth and Julia Meltzer Internship Program will run for 8 weeks from June 22 until August 14, and will be conducted in-person. Interns are expected to work 24 hours/week and will receive payment in the form of two stipends. While there is a minimum age requirement of 18 years to apply, there is no minimum formal education requirement. If you or someone you know is ready to make a difference in the fight for economic, environmental, and racial justice, be sure to apply as early as possible! Qualified applicants will be contacted on a rolling basis. |
