Wow. The last week has been a whirlwind.

I just wrapped up my statewide Kansas Strong Tour, and let me tell you: There is no state more passionate, more hard-working, and yes, more independent than ours.

I heard it again and again on this tour: Kansans aren’t asking for much.

Folks just want an affordable place to live, real opportunities to get ahead, and a government that has their backs — not the wealthy and well-connected.

I’ll run through the highlights of my Kansas Strong Tour in a second. But before I go on, I need you to know: Because of folks like you, we’ve built a movement that extends far beyond the borders of KS-03. Now, I need your help to keep it going strong. Please, will you chip in $15 now to help make sure working families all across Kansas continue to have an ally in Congress?

Okay, I know I promised pictures — here are the highlights!

Sharice talking with labor leaders over breakfast

I kicked off the tour in Topeka, speaking with labor leaders over a good breakfast. These days, a lot of politicians love to offer lip service to working people here in Kansas… but nothing more. Not me. Fair wages, decent benefits, safe workplaces, you name it — I’m fighting for it in Congress.

Sharice at the Kansas State Capitol

We also had time to make a quick stop at the Kansas State Capitol to celebrate Kansas Day… where one quote at the Visitor’s Center particularly stood out to me!

Sharice at the WSU's Aviation Center

The next day, we drove over to Wichita, where I saw Kansas’ workforce talent firsthand at Wichita State University’s Aviation Center. Kansas has all the talent, the infrastructure, and the know-how to bring so many good-paying jobs here. We just need more leaders with the determination to get it done.

Sharice on a tour at the Frahm Family Farm

Finally, after chatting with small business owners in Dodge City, we wrapped up the tour in Colby at the Frahm Family Farm, where we discussed all the challenges farmers and ranchers are facing right now under an economy that’s going great for a select few… but leaving working folks behind.

Kansas is a strong, resilient state. We have all the potential in the world… as long as we elect leaders who are willing to put in the work.

I’ve learned so much over the last week — and I’m ready to take those lessons straight to Washington. But if we want to make sure national politicians actually hear those lessons? That’s where you come in.

Please, will you chip in whatever you can to power our movement here in Kansas? Over the next nine months, we have to build the strongest team possible before Election Day — and we can only do it with small-dollar donations from folks like you.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
