I’m writing with great news. Moments ago, Congress passed its annual appropriations bills including over $4 billion in U.S.-Israel security funding.


This is the largest-ever annual appropriations package for U.S.-Israel security programs — and you helped make it possible.


The funding includes the full $3.3 billion in security assistance for Israel, which we lobby for each year, along with over $700 million for lifesaving U.S.-Israel defense programs — over $65 million more than last year's funding levels. It will now be sent to the president’s desk to be signed into law.


Our work together to help elect a pro-Israel Congress and keep our members engaged on these critical issues was essential to advancing these pro-Israel provisions, which will help keep Israel safe and the U.S.-Israel alliance strong.


This funding will help keep Americans safer, create American jobs, and ensure the two allies work closely together to confront shared 21st century challenges — while helping provide Israel the resources needed to defend its families on multiple fronts.

You can read more about each of these programs, and other key pro-Israel provisions in the bills, below my signature.
