We have a problem on our hands, and we need to ask you to make a
contribution today. As a supporter of this movement, you deserve full
transparency, so here’s the situation:

After our end-of-month deadline, our fundraising slowed down dramatically.

accounts for how many donations we receive for each day.

You can see the trend. Both metrics are headed in the wrong direction.

That leaves us with two choices. We either need a lot more individual
donations or we need those who've given before to donate a larger amount
than their last contribution.

Normally, we ask people who have yet to contribute to give
about $5 for their first donation. But with just four weeks until the
primary, we have to ask you to dig a bit deeper today.
