California’s Pajaro Valley and Gonzales Unified School Districts ignored the Center for American Liberty’s lawful requests.
I’m done with schools keeping secrets from parents and I suspect you are too.
A few years ago, Harmeet and I represented Jessica Konen, a mom whose daughter had been socially “transitioned” from girl to boy, in public school, without parental notification or consent.
School administrators told Jessica’s daughter that her mom couldn’t be trusted…
…they told this 6th grade girl that she was probably bisexual and transgender.
All without a phone call home to mom.
We won that lawsuit.
But perhaps more importantly, that lawsuit opened a lot of eyes—mine included—to a much broader coordinated effort designed to brainwash a generation of students into rejecting their faith, family, and gender.
This case inspired us to take a deeper look into school districts’ policies and procedures, not just in California, but across the country.
We are demanding school districts produce curriculum, policies, and other public records related to parental rights and the gender “transitioning” of children.
Our goal is simple—to empower parents to protect their kids from dangerous ideologies in school.
But when school districts ignore our requests, we are left with no choice but to sue.
Including Pajaro Valley USD and Gonzales USD, we’re in active litigation with 9 school districts in California over documents that by law are supposed to be available to parents.
What are they hiding?
