These are hard times. Hard on our hearts, hard on our wallets and hard on our sense of hope.
When times are hard, we need each other.
The connections we build with our family, friends, neighbours and communities help carry us through. And when we come together with a shared purpose we can turn frustration and despair into action and care. That’s why this month we’re focusing on community.
The Green Party of Canada was built through community. Everything we do depends on people: members, donors, volunteers, and organizers across the country who show up because they believe that more Green voices in parliament is what Canada, and the world, needs now.
We've set a goal to raise $118,300, with $70,000 from monthly donations, by February 28.

That money supports the regional organizers who work with volunteers in communities across the country. It pays for creating the resources those volunteers need to organize events and connect with neighbours. And it keeps our communications going: reaching people, showing them what Greens stand for, and inviting them to be part of building something together.
Monthly donations are what make that possible. Last month, Arnold from Montreal decided to increase his monthly donation:
"I'd been thinking about increasing my monthly donation for a while. What pushed me to do it was reading about Elizabeth May's comments in Parliament on the erosion of parliamentary democracy.
