Look, friend: My promise to fight for Colorado doesn't begin the day I take office as the next governor.
I've been fighting for almost 17 years now – just take a look at my Senate résumé:
✅ Voted to remove Trump from office ... twice
✅ Passed and protected the ACA
✅ Capped insulin prices for seniors
✅ Cut child poverty nearly in half
✅ Protected Camp Hale and more Colorado public lands
✅ Made corporations pay what they owe
... and so much more.
But right now, GOP majorities in Congress are letting Trump's chaos run wild. Corporations are jacking prices sky-high as big polluters ruin the climate and worsen our quality of life.
Right now, Colorado is getting screwed as Washington leaves us behind.
I'm ready to take the fight for Colorado's families where I can make the biggest impact: here in our home state.
That's why I'm about to ask you to chip in $5 or more toward my campaign's $60,000 end-of-month goal (our biggest one yet) today – because Coloradans deserve a leader who will tackle the biggest problems facing folks statewide, and shield them from Trump's petty retaliation.
Among all the candidates, I'm the only guy with the hands-on experience, the values, the backbone and the bold vision to lead Colorado into the future. And I've already got a plan to deliver the tangible results that will improve Coloradans' lives, like:
🏘️ Building more starter homes and affordable housing options
⚕️ Protecting affordable health care led by evidence-based science
🌎 Cutting emissions and energy bills with our own Cap and Invest program
🎓 Ensuring students graduate with the skills to earn a livable wage
... and more. Because each of these items is key to building the Colorado we deserve, where working families can stay and thrive.
And we already have all the tools here in our home state to get this to-do list done. We just need the right leader in the governor's office.
That's why I'm in this race.
But since I don't take corporate PAC money, I won't make it past the June primary – let alone cross the finish line first in November – without a strong base of small-dollar grassroots support, made up of everyday folks just like you, friend.
I’m committed to the work ahead, and would love it if you came along for the ride. So if you're in a place to give, I hope you'll consider making a contribution before our January end-of-month deadline this Saturday. >>

Thank you for your consideration,
