A lawyer by training and a public school graduate, Mebane is the founding CEO and editor-in-chief of EdNC.org, a nonprofit news organization dedicated to telling essential education stories from every corner of North Carolina. Her work — grounded in relationships, on-the-ground reporting and a belief that the word “all” truly matters — aligns closely with ZSR’s values and approach.
