Sonepar deploys automation at Codale's Las Vegas hub
Sonepar has partnered with Kardex to implement automated warehouse systems at Codale Electric Supply's new distribution center in Las Vegas. Lowe's Mylow app, launched in March 2025 and powered by AI, has doubled the conversion rate of users compared with nonusers by offering targeted content, enhanced visualization tools and in-app purchasing. The app integrates Google's Nano Banana image generation technology, enabling users to see realistic renderings of their design ideas.

The Transportation Department's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced plans to rescind Biden-era fuel economy requirements for heavy-duty pickups and vans, arguing the targets were unrealistic, beyond the agency's legal authority and burdensome to consumers and business owners. Regulators estimate the rollback would cut upfront vehicle costs by about $930 per unit but increase fuel consumption by roughly 100 billion gallons through 2050.
