Hello neighbors,
I wanted to reach out again ahead of precinct caucuses today, because this is one of those moments where your participation dictates the future of our district.
Our communities are navigating a lot right now. People are worried about their neighbors, about safety, about whether the systems meant to protect us are fair. At the same time, families are still dealing with the everyday pressures that haven't gone away. Costs rise faster than wages. Housing and childcare are harder to afford. Schools are stretched thin.
I've spent my career working on these issues by engaging with the people most affected and making their voices heard on the inside. I've written and passed laws that raised wages, expanded childcare, strengthened public schools, protected workers, and demanded accountability from state government. That experience matters because it means I know how to ask the right questions, push our systems to do better, and use the relationships I already have to start putting up wins for our district on DAY 1.
Caucus night is where support turns into action. If you've already decided to support me, I'm asking you to show up and help move this work forward. If you're still deciding, caucus is a great place to listen, ask questions, and make that choice with your neighbors.
