Friend, 

I spent nearly three decades of my life in uniform.

My journey began in May of 1988, when I entered active duty with the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. I continued in the reserves until 1995, and then answered the call again in 1997, serving on active duty in the U.S. Air Force until I retired in 2016.

From FE Warren AFB in Wyoming and Whiteman AFB in Missouri to Misawa AB, Japan, and the NATO School in Germany—I’ve seen the world through the lens of service. I’ve been deployed to Ali al Salem AB in Kuwait and Al Udeid AB in Qatar. I’ve taught the next generation of leaders at the Air Force Academy and served as a headquarters staff officer at Nellis AFB and Barksdale AFB.

Through every rank and every station, my mission never changed: Defend the Constitution of the United States.

I thought I had completed that mission when I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. I was enjoying a quiet life as a Park Ranger in the Black Hills. But when I look at the chaos, the corruption, and the cowardice emanating from Washington today, I realize the Constitution is under threat in a way I never imagined possible while I was overseas.

This is my final call to duty.

I am running for the U.S. Senate as an Independent because the D.C. Country Club has replaced the oath of office with a loyalty oath to party bosses and billionaire donors. Career politicians like Mike Rounds have been in office for so long that they’ve forgotten what it means to put service before self or country over party.

We are currently leading Mike Rounds by three points in the polls, but the establishment is about to unleash a wave of corporate PAC money to try and silence us. Will you chip in right now to help me answer this final call to duty and restore integrity to the Senate? [ [link removed] ]
