I’ve been thinking about why so many feel disconnected from politics, even when they care deeply about what’s happening in the world.

I think part of it is this: too often, campaigns treat people like numbers instead of partners.

This campaign is different by design.

I’m running as your neighbor, not a career politician. I believe New Yorkers deserve leaders who are present in their communities, honest about the challenges we face, and willing to fight for people who don’t have a lobbyist or a megaphone. [[link removed]]

➡️ Standing up to Donald Trump and anyone who enables him

➡️ Defending democracy without theatrics or fear-mongering

➡️ Showing up for our neighbors, especially when it’s not politically convenient

This is a crowded race, and one of our biggest early challenges is name recognition. In a district as politically engaged as NY-12, people pay close attention — but only once they know who you are.
