John – It’s Becca.

I wanted to reach out today for one simple reason: thank you.

Together, we hit our January goal. And because of you, we can keep showing up fast, staying present, and fighting for anyone and everyone who may need us

And I need you to know this: people in Minnesota feel it . When communities are grieving and afraid, when it feels like the rest of the country might move on too quickly — it matters deeply to know that people hundreds or thousands of miles away are saying, “ We have your back. You are not alone. ”

That kind of solidarity is powerful. It cuts through the isolation that cruelty depends on.

You all met this moment with courage. With generosity. With a refusal to look away when it would have been easier to do just that. And I don’t take that lightly… not for a second.

But movements don’t survive on outrage alone. They survive because people decide they’re in it for the long haul. If that feels true for you, I invite you to click here and stay with us as we keep showing up for the people who need us. [[link removed]]

In moments like this, I also want to remind us to check in on our neighbors. Reach out. Ask how someone’s doing. Make sure people know they’re not alone. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is remind someone that they’re seen, they’re valued, and they don’t have to face this alone.

What keeps me going, even on the hardest days, is knowing that we’re in this together. It’s knowing there are people like you who refuse to turn away, who understand that real change takes consistency and care, not just moments of urgency. That shared commitment is what makes this work possible.

So, if today feels like a moment you want to lean in again — even just a few dollars — it would mean the world to me and to the people counting on us. [[link removed]]

Here’s what I believe with my whole heart: showing up for each other is an act of courage. Loving people you may never meet, refusing to let fear or distance divide us — that is how movements are built. That is how change happens.

I lead with empathy because I refuse to lose my humanity in this work. And I fight with everything I have because the stakes demand it. Those two things are inseparable for me, and they’re exactly why I’m not backing down.

So, I have to say it again: THANK YOU for standing up in a time when everything feels heavy. Thank you for choosing courage anyway. You are making a real difference, and I am so proud to be in this fight with you.

With so much gratitude,
— Becca
