WE'RE SHOWING UP AND SHOWING OUT FOR MEMPHIS PUBLIC LIBRARY WORKERS THIS TUESDAY - WILL YOU JOIN US?

This Tuesday, February 3rd, City Council will vote on an ordinance to put civil service protections for library workers on the ballot later this year.

Right now, your fellow workers in the Memphis Public Libraries are barred from the same civil service protections and collective bargaining rights that other city workers enjoy.

But you can change that!

Turn out to City Hall at 3 PM for an in-person press conference led by library workers to show the media and the city that we workers are united - then join library workers and community members to pack the Council chambers to demand a YES vote!

Library workers have a real shot at winning—but the Council needs to see that Memphis is a union town and that working people won't accept anything less than full support for organized labor from its leaders.

When library workers win, all working people in Memphis win.
