Trump’s lackeys in Congress just introduced the “Make Elections Great Again Act” (MEGA Act)—a super-sized voter suppression bill designed solely to reduce turnout of millions of voters who tend to vote for Democrats.

The MEGA voter suppression bill would eliminate Colorado’s highly-successful universal vote-by-mail system and impose burdensome photo ID requirements for voters in every state. 

Colorado voters have relied on mail-in voting as a default option. Mail-in voting benefits working people and rural Americans who live in remote parts of the state and can easily and securely mail their ballots with the U.S. Postal Service.

MAGA extremist Lauren Boebert has won elections under this fair system. Yet Boebert continues to rubber stamp Trump’s baseless attacks on Colorado’s elections and support his corrupt effort to free convicted felon Tina Peters from state prison. 

Boebert has got to go—Trisha Calvarese is the Democrat who will defeat her. 

Boebert only survived re-election by 546 votes. In 2024, a good year for MAGA, Lauren Boebert ran 7 points behind Donald Trump in this district while Trisha performed 6 points better than Harris. Boebert’s fundraising has been anemic and Trisha has outraised her 5:1.
