FUND THE FIGHT [[link removed]]
Our client is the first person sued under HB7, Texas's new "bounty hunter" law that allows virtually anyone to sue someone for allegedly manufacturing, distributing, mailing, prescribing, or providing abortion pills into Texas, for at least $100,000.
Under HB7, anyone believed to have provided someone in Texas abortion pills is at risk: [[link removed]]
* A parent who hands their child abortion pills
* A pharmaceutical company that manufactures the medication
* A doctor in another state—like our client
This lawsuit is part of a coordinated national effort by anti-abortion extremists to intimidate providers and stop patients from accessing care—but we refuse to let providers fight alone. [[link removed]]
DEFEND PROVIDERS [[link removed]]
Texas's HB7 is a dangerous test case, and extremists want to use it to spread fear across the medical community and build a national strategy to make abortion pills inaccessible.
The Center is defending those who care for us. Your support today ensures we can continue this critical work. [[link removed]]
