Inspired by Katie and her whiteboard, our team did some math: Based on our average contribution amount, we’re going to need to raise 620 grassroots donations every day in order to hit our goal by Friday’s deadline.

It’s an ambitious goal, but Team Porter has never been one to shy away from a challenge, and we really can’t afford to fall short of our goals just four months until election day.

Can you please make one of the 620 donations we’re counting on today, John? Hitting this July goal is a critical step in our plan to win in November, and your support will go a long way.

This July goal is so important to hit because of all the work we need to do in the final months leading up to election day. We're in a tough race, and our fundraising performance from this month will influence decisions like how many ads our team can place, how many organizers we can hire, and ultimately, how many voters we can reach.

If we fall just a little bit short of this goal, we’ll have to make adjustments to our budget during the most critical phase of this race.
