OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — Jeff Starling, Republican candidate for Oklahoma Attorney General, today announced that his campaign has crossed the $1 million fundraising threshold — a milestone that underscores the extraordinary grassroots energy behind his candidacy. Since entering the race, Starling has outraised his opponent, career politician Jon Echols, by a commanding 2-to-1 margin, bringing in $918,000 from July to December 2025, compared to his opponent’s $440,000 over the same period.
“Oklahomans are sending a clear message: they want a proven outsider and businessman who has actually practiced law with real courtroom experience, not another out-of-touch career politician experienced in the backroom deals of the halls of the state capitol,” said Jeff Starling. “This campaign’s fundraising momentum reflects the deep desire across our state for real leadership in the Attorney General’s office, not more of the same establishment politics and career politicians.”
Between July and December 2025, Starling outraised every candidate running for statewide office in Oklahoma with the sole exception of Chip Keating, a candidate for Governor. That fundraising dominance was especially pronounced in the race for Attorney General. In the fourth quarter alone, Starling outraised his Republican opponent $309,000 to $169,000 — a nearly 2-to-1 advantage that demonstrates accelerating support for the Starling campaign heading into the critical months ahead. Meanwhile, career politician Echols failed to even outperform the lone Democrat running for Attorney General, who outraised Echols by 37% over the period. After adjusting for expenses, Starling’s Republican opponent netted less than $25,000 in the final quarter of 2025.
Starling is now on pace to significantly exceed his opponent’s cash on hand, despite his Republican opponent entering the race a full six months before Starling. The trajectory is unmistakable: donors across Oklahoma are rallying behind Starling’s vision of an Attorney General’s office led by an independent outsider, not a creature of the political establishment.
Starling, a successful businessman and practicing attorney, has built his campaign on a promise to bring real-world experience and independence to the office. His message has resonated powerfully with Republican primary voters who are hungry for a candidate untethered from the establishment networks that have long dominated Oklahoma politics.
Key fundraising highlights:
• $1 Million Milestone: Starling has now crossed the $1 million mark in total funds raised, demonstrating broad and deep donor support.
• 2-to-1 Advantage: Starling has outraised career politician Echols $918,000 to $440,000 from July to December 2025 — despite Echols entering the race six months earlier.
• Q4 Dominance: In the fourth quarter, Starling outraised his Republican opponent $309,000 to $169,000, showing accelerating momentum.
• Top Statewide Fundraiser: Between July and December, Starling outraised every statewide candidate in Oklahoma except for one candidate for Governor.
• Closing the Cash-on-Hand Gap: Starling is on track to significantly exceed his opponent’s cash on hand.
“The people of Oklahoma don’t want another insider cutting deals behind closed doors for their own benefit,”Starling added. “They want an Attorney General who will fight for them and our conservative values, someone who will back President Trump’s America First Agenda, and someone with real legal experience and the independence to hold the line. That’s exactly what I intend to deliver.”
