But showing up for LGBTQ+ youth doesn't need to be difficult. No images? Click here Hi John, Valentine’s Day isn’t about grand gestures. For LGBTQ+ youth, the love that lands is the consistent kind: I see you. I support you. I love you. That’s what allyship is—commitment and determination. From now through February 14, when you give $50 or more to It Gets Better, we’ll send you an exclusive pack of 7 friendship bracelets as a thank-you gift. One bracelet says “it gets better,” and the others celebrate identities across our community. Wear them stacked, trade them with friends, give them to your kids, your coworkers, your chosen family. Make your support visible, and show up loud and proud for folks like our Youth Voices ambassadors Nashan, Marshall, and Jay. Order by February 4 to get them in time for Valentine’s Day. And if you want the easiest way to show up fast: take the It Gets Better Pledge and ask three people to take it with you. Post the pledge to your socials to encourage more folks to sign. You’ll be joining nearly 800,000 people choosing to be visible allies. Donate to get your bracelets: itgetsbetter.org/donate Take the pledge: itgetsbetter.org/take-the-pledge Every dollar you give, every commitment of support, sends a life-changing message to LGBTQ+ young people when they need it most. It gets better because we’re standing together. Ross W. von Metzke (he/him) It Gets Better is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
