Our border may be secured by President Trump, but we have as many as a million illegals running around our state from when Joe Biden allowed them to invade. Katie Hobbs and the liberal cities are running cover for them. Crime and cartel activity follow. It isn't good or healthy for Arizona.
So here's what I'm doing: I am working to pass a number of laws to strengthen the border, seal it off, and deport the illegals already here!
Sponsored bills (primary sponsor):
SB1051 (2026): Hospitals; patient immigration status; reporting. Requires hospitals to collect/report on patient immigration status (revival/similar to prior efforts like SB1268). Introduced, needs YOUR help to proceed.
SB1152 (2026): Immigration verification; public benefits; asylum. Focuses on verifying immigration status for public benefits and asylum-related matters. Referred to my committee (Military Affairs and Border Security).
SB1055 (2026): Arrestees; unlawfully present; reporting. Requires reporting on unlawfully present individuals who are arrested. Referred to my committee.
SB1157 (2026): Appropriation; fencing; border; high-crossing areas. Provides funding for border fencing in high-crossing zones. Introduced but not yet heard.
SB1156 (2026): Appropriation; short-term detention holds. Related to detention funding, potentially tied to border enforcement. Introduced but not yet heard.
Cosponsored or committee-supported:
SB1164 (2025): Immigration laws; local enforcement. Enhances local cooperation/enforcement of federal immigration laws. She was on the committee that passed it amended (Military Affairs and Border Security voted to pass).
Let's be clear: I am NOT just standing by as the citizens of other countries invade our state and demand we fund them.
I want them out and all spigots of government aid turned completely off.
Let them apply to come in the right way- FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY.
I don't believe in just standing by while we get overrun.
The Democrats in Arizona WANT these trespassers here. The taxpayers do not.
