Hi John, it's Tim.

Now that January is finally over, I wanted to take a moment to reach out
and express my deepest gratitude.

I won’t sugarcoat it: this past month was hell for our state. The federal
government’s siege on Minnesota has taken a toll on our children, seniors,
families, and local businesses — especially our immigrant community.

Countless individuals have had their rights violated, multiple lives have
been lost, and numerous families have been torn apart. But Minnesota still
stands strong.

One thing has remained the same: Minnesotans from all walks of life are
meeting this violent chaos with peaceful resistance, and I couldn’t be
prouder.

This vengeful president and his loyal, right-wing extremists may lob ugly
attacks and file baseless charges against me, but know this:

I won’t rest until we see impartial investigations, the departure of
federal forces from Minnesota, and an end to this campaign of political
retribution.

So many of you have pitched in to our Legal Defense Fund these last few
weeks, standing with me as I stand up for our state. I can’t thank you
enough.

But my work and this fight are far from over. We still have a ways to go
to build the financial resources it will take to cover the mounting legal
costs.
